Texas charter schools
Special education support, without a full-time director.
Insight Education Partners helps Texas charter schools meet special education requirements without hiring a full-time director.
About
More than 25 years in education.
Insight Education Partners helps Texas charter schools meet special education requirements without hiring a full-time director. Angela Glasgow brings more than 25 years in education, most of it in administration, including service as an elementary principal and as director of special education for several charter schools. She also serves as an adjunct professor at community colleges.
For schools
The same program, without a full-time director.
Charter schools often need the same special education program a larger district has, without the budget for a full-time director. Insight Education Partners fills that gap. Our team works with school leaders to keep the program aligned with Texas Education Agency requirements, prepare for monitoring, and build systems the campus can actually run.
ARD meetings and staff training
She sits in Admission, Review, and Dismissal meetings, helps the committee write plans that match the student, and works out the accommodations and supports the student needs in class. She also trains staff so the plan is followed after the meeting, not just filed.
For families
Extra help while a student changes schools.
For families, she offers one-on-one help at home for students who need extra support while they move from elementary school to junior high, or from junior high to high school. That time is for the student: organization, the new schedule, self-advocacy, and the skills the next campus will expect. It is not a substitute for the school’s program. It is extra help during the change.
Schools get a director-level partner when they need one. Students get a plan that fits, and a steadier start at the next school.
